Este profissional será responsável por atividades de fechamento contábil, relatórios de gestão e suporte à equipe tributária. A posição requer um bom nível de comunicação em inglês, conhecimento em Excel, e experiência com sistemas ERP. Essa é uma oportunidade temporária para um profissional capaz de gerir múltiplos projetos e com forte atenção a detalhes.

Qualificações

  • Experiência mínima de 5 anos como contador.
  • Conhecimento em teorias contábeis e práticas (IFRS, IAS).
  • CRC ativo é obrigatório.

Responsabilidades

  • Executar fechamento contábil e análises mensais.
  • Colaborar com unidades de negócio para identificar e priorizar os resultados financeiros.
  • Preparar relatórios contábeis para a gestão.

About the role

GSS Finance South America is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to perform the following:
  • Execute period end closing accounting activities within the deadlines (e.g. bookings: payroll, fixed asset, taxes, ERP local system, bank transactions, supplier’s payments, employee´s reimburses)
  • Collaborate with Business Units to identify, prioritize, execute and document project financials, invoices & other controlling
  • Ensure the correct SPED report within the legal deadline;
  • Support the Tax team with analysis of direct and indirect tax accounts
  • Analyze the whole accounting process and suggest improvements.
  • Managing preparation and delivery of management accounts and statutory accounts reports
  • Perform balance sheet Conciliations/analysis on a monthly basis (suppliers, receivables, payroll, taxes, assets, bank and intercompany)
  • Application of CPC’s/IFRS
  • Other accounting duties as assigned & Ad-hoc reports

About you

  • Accounting Degree
  • MBA/Post Graduation will be a plus
  • Have active CRC
  • Have at least 5 years of experience as Accountant
  • Knowledge of Accounting theories and practices (IFRS, IAS)
  • Experience with SAP/Oracle (or equivalent ERP system)
  • Analytical and detail oriented, must bring a process improvement mindset
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal customers and the general public
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Able to work in an environment with volatile demands (accounting routines, recurring meetings and new projects)
  • Self-driven with team work spirit and interpersonal skills, take personal responsibility or on going professional development
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability also understands the need for and embraces change.
  • Digital Native – deep knowledge in Office Package, in special Excel (index matching, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and MS Forms;
  • Data management and analysis (incl. tools like Power BI) and Story telling (Data advisory) is a plus
  • Ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
  • Native in Portuguese (Mandatory)
  • Spanish communication is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
  • Positive attitude and customer focus
  • Good team spirit
  • Respect for hierarchy
  • Attentive to detail and deadlines
  • Sharp judgment
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Passion and willingness to learn and understand new software/accounting systems
    This is a Temporary Position (10 months duration).
