Role description

This is a remote, freelance role for a backend Python developer. You will work with other members of an agile team to integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.

No agencies, please. Only individuals.

Payment is per hour worked. Hourly value dependent on your demonstrable experience. All work is remote.

Technologies involved

• the Python language, with typing annotations
• the Litestar web framework (similar to FastAPI)
• the Pyramid web framework
• SQLAlchemy (the Python ORM)
• the SQL language

Requisites

• Fluent English.
• Able to work 32h to 40h per week.
• Experience with back-end development and database design.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience in most of the technologies listed above.
• Deep knowledge about security and scalability of web apps.
• Interest in the themes of software architecture, open source and agile.
• Attention to detail and precision in use of language.
• Good communication: you don\'t disappear, you don\'t shun video calls, you are present in our Discord server while working, you ask for help when needed and you spontaneously provide advice when you see the opportunity.
• Willing to sign an NDA.
