Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Data Architect

We are seeking a full-stack developer experienced with SQL/PLSQL, data modeling tools like DBeaver, databases such as Oracle and Redshift, and visualization tools like Spotfire.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience as a TIBCO Spotfire developer in analysis, design, and development.
• Ability to understand analytic specifications and translate them into Spotfire visualizations and underlying code.
• Experience with TIBCO Spotfire client concepts, including filtering schemes, data on demand, and property controls.
• Experience integrating HTML, R, IronPython, Java Scripting.
• Working experience with databases like Greenplum, PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift.
• Strong in performance optimization of Spotfire applications.
• Experience with continuous improvement activities and lean enterprise initiatives is preferred.
• Must demonstrate initiative and a drive for continuous improvement, with a proven ability to implement innovative ideas and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Experience with BI technologies, including TIBCO Spotfire.
• Extensive experience with large-scale Spotfire development.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of databases.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Data Science.
• Good knowledge of R, Python, etc.

Compensation and Location

The approximate annual base salary ranges from $65,000 to $70,000, with actual offers determined by experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Note: Los Angeles-based candidates are not eligible for this role; Schenectady, NY candidates are eligible.
