Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Data Architect

We are seeking a full stack developer with experience in SQL/PLSQL, data modeling tools like DBeaver, and working with databases such as Oracle and Redshift. Experience with visualization tools like Spotfire is also required.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience as a TIBCO Spotfire developer in analysis, design, and development
• Ability to understand analytic specifications and translate them into Spotfire visualizations and underlying code
• Knowledge of TIBCO Spotfire client key concepts, including filtering schemes, data on demand, and property controls
• Experience with integrating HTML, R, IronPython, and Java Scripting
• Working experience with databases like Greenplum, PostgreSQL, and AWS Redshift
• Strong skills in performance optimization of Spotfire applications
• Experience with continuous improvement activities and implementing lean enterprise initiatives is preferred
• Proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and business solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral
• Experience with BI technologies, including TIBCO Spotfire
• Extensive experience with large-scale Spotfire development
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
• Knowledge of database systems

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge in Data Science
• Proficiency in R, Python, etc.

The approximate annual base salary ranges from $65,000 to $70,000, with the final offer based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.

Note: Work-from-anywhere roles exclude Los Angeles, California-based candidates. Specific location eligibility applies for Schenectady, NY.
