Job Description:

We are inviting applications for the role of Data Architect. We are seeking a full stack developer experienced with SQL/PLSQL, data modeling tools like DBeaver, databases such as Oracle and Redshift, and visualization tools like Spotfire.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience as a TIBCO Spotfire developer in analysis, design, and development.
• Ability to understand analytic specifications and translate them into Spotfire visualizations and underlying code.
• Experience with TIBCO Spotfire key concepts such as filtering schemes, data on demand, and property controls.
• Experience integrating HTML, R, IronPython, Java Scripting.
• Working experience with databases like Greenplum, PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift.
• Strong experience in performance optimization of Spotfire applications.
• Experience with continuous improvement activities and a desire to implement lean enterprise initiatives.
• Initiative and continuous improvement mindset, with a proven ability to participate in innovative projects and business solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Experience with BI technologies, including TIBCO Spotfire.
• Extensive experience with large-scale Spotfire development.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of databases.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Data Science.
• Good knowledge of R, Python, etc.

Compensation:

The approximate annual base salary is $65,000 to $70,000, with actual offers based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.

Location:

Work-from-anywhere roles are available, but candidates in Los Angeles, California are not eligible. Candidates in Schenectady, NY are eligible.
