Coforge is hiring a SQL & Snowflake Engineer to design and maintain scalable ELT pipelines in a remote role based in Brazil. You will optimize Snowflake performance, implement dbt models, and ensure robust access controls across data warehouses.

Collaboration with agile teams is essential for delivering data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate has strong SQL, Snowflake architecture experience, and familiarity with cloud tooling (AWS) and IaC practices.

Qualificações

• Solid experience with Snowflake architecture, infrastructure management, and data sharing.
• Hands-on experience with dbt (data modeling, lineage, testing, and transformations).
• Strong proficiency in Advanced SQL (CTEs, Window Functions, Stored Procedures).
• Familiarity with ELT processes and data ingestion tools.

Responsabilidades

• Digest requirements from the engineering team and specify the implementation of complex SQL queries and dbt models.
• Build, test, and maintain scalable ELT transformation pipelines using dbt.
• Manage and configure Snowflake data infrastructure (virtual warehouses, RBAC/access controls, resource monitors, and performance tuning).
• Analyze and map underlying data schemas within Snowflake to support application logic.
• Optimize SQL performance and Snowflake infrastructure costs for large-scale data retrieval and reporting.
• Follow Agile processes and participate actively in data exploration phases.
• Participate in technical discussions, data quality reviews, and schema design sessions.

• Familiarity with ELT processes and data ingestion tools.
• Solid experience with version control for database scripts and data pipelines (Git, Liquibase, or dbt).

Preferred Skills

• Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP) regarding data storage (S3/Blob) and IAM.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform) for provisioning cloud or Snowflake resources.
• Experience with Python or scripting for data manipulation and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet) within Snowflake.
