Job Purpose: Carry out requested purchases considering the Sourcing Process, including contractual management and total management of your sourcing category, based on the necessary compliance, assigning the prices and quality required by the business, previously aligned and approved by the requesting area

Your tasks

• To benchmarking prices in the market respecting Sourcing Strategy methodology
• Contract Management
• Application of Sourcing methodology
• Analysis and Cost Reduction (via global targets defined for the category)
• Management of global, regional and local KPIs for your category
• Support to all DHL Business Units in Brazil
• SRM (Supplier Management – which is supply chain monitoring including risk analysis)
• QBR with suppliers
• Service to global, regional and local Compliance of the respective Business Unit
• Assistance to Start-ups of New Operations within the specific Category
• Interaction with other countries to share best practices and category strategy
• Occasional trips in OPS and DHL Brazil Bases
• Monitoring by general local, regional and global Procurement and BU Base KPIs

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree
• 10 to 15 years of experience in Procurement
• Proficiency in English and also in Spanish – reading, writing & speaking
• Great communication style and analytical skills
• Business Partners relationship
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and internal customers in scope
• Provide advice and support to internal customer with specs
• Contribute to the successful cooperation between region / country and sourcing community
• Explain facts, policies and practices related to your job area
• Develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge
