Missions

Your main goal will be to drive technical pre-sales processes and ensure successful proof of concepts (POCs) to convert leads into satisfied customers. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Leading Technical Sales Engagements
    • Conduct technical calls and demos with potential enterprise customers to showcase n8n’s capabilities.
    • Identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions, demonstrating how n8n can address their challenges.
    • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to align technical solutions with sales strategies.
  2. Creating and Managing POCs
    • Monitor and guide clients through their POC journey, providing support and insights to maximize their trial experience.
    • Collect and analyze feedback from POCs to refine the process and improve client onboarding.
  3. Building Client Relationships
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT Ops and SecOps teams.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients envision future use cases and expansion opportunities with n8n.
    • Provide technical expertise and best practices to ensure long-term client success.
  4. Internal Collaboration and Process Improvement
    • Work with the sales team to streamline and enhance pre-sales processes.
    • Communicate client feedback and technical requirements to product and engineering teams to drive product improvements.
    • Contribute to the creation of sales and marketing materials to support technical sales efforts.
Requirements

Must-have

  • Sales Engineering Experience: Over 6 years in a technical pre-sales role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understanding of sales processes and ability to address client needs with technical solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Skilled at maintaining relationships with clients, especially within IT Ops and SecOps.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of API integrations, oAuth, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, JavaScript.
  • Startup Experience: Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Willingness to travel and participate in onboarding in NYC when required.

Nice-to-have

  • Advanced Technical Background: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
  • Community Engagement: Active in tech communities and open-source projects.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with n8n or similar workflow automation tools.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Skilled in data collection and analysis for decision-making and process improvements.
