Support sales to engage with customers to articulate prospective business solutions and value propositions that address customer main challenges related to Critical Energy & Cooling Services Business;
Envision and develop an end-to-end solution architecture for Critical Energy & Cooling Services based solution bridging assets, devices, gateways, connectivity, cloud , integration, analytics, cyber security layers, addressing functional and non-functional aspects;
Support Tendering team in the quotation process providing inputs on technical requirements / and intricacies of the solution (upgrades needed, co-legacy systems…) in order to offer the right technical solution fitting to customer needs in terms of technical performance, quality, costs and time.
Is responsible for the technical solution and its fit with customer requirements. It must integrate the offers developed by Schneider Electric when applicable.
Defend the choice of the technical solution in front of the customer by possibly participating in trade negotiations.
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical leadership / advisory to sales, tenders and customers
- Serves as technical expert for pre-sale customer activities and internal events
- Participates in on-site / remote customer meetings to understand customer requirements, pain points, challenges, and current environment
- Communicates with customer representatives and executives to understand customer industrial infrastructure and policies and present solutions that fit into customer industrial environment
- Prepares technical materials, presentations, and tools that improve sales force and tender effectiveness and that clearly state customer business problems and the SE (+partners) solutions addressing them
- Defines the architecture and design of our solutions/services in support of customer projects
- Provides strong participation on timely and accurately completion of RFIs/RFPs
- Sizes solution / services architecture and components, development costs, and contribute to pricing and value proposition framing and trade-offs deriving from life-cycle cost modelling (TCO, CAPEX…)
- Support tendering team to assess the technical risk associated with the project and provide all solutions to mitigate it.
- Support sales team to get customer’s approval on the technical solutions offered
Qualifications:
- Electrical engineering degree
- Proven experience of working in a technical role (e.g., applications engineering) completed with experiences in sales/ pre-sales / and or tendering
- Knowledge of end-to-end Critical Energy and Cooling solutions
- Experience in following is an advantage: data center monitoring solutions, softwares for data center control & management, microdata centers, data centers prefab, cooling sizing.
- Entrepreneurial, engaged and highly motivated individual with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong technical experience in UPS and Cooling Systems.
- Leadership and team spirit, particularly within a multicultural environment.
- Highly structured, process oriented with excellent planning abilities.
- Is encouraged and motivated to tackling complex projects, challenging customers and uncertain environments.
- Foreign language : English required / Spanish desired
