Yokogawa Brazil seeks a Solution Specialist to architect Level 3 solutions and address customer needs with robust hardware and software.

You will work with IT/OT teams, Sales, and regional affiliates to deliver end-to-end solutions across South America, with travel as required to meet clients and drive value.

The ideal candidate brings strong Portuguese and English communication, solid project management, and the ability to translate complex concepts into business outcomes.

Qualificações

• Proven work experience as a Solution Specialist or similar role.
• Deep experience on Level 3 solutions promotion (Yokogawa or similar).
• Project management experience is advantageous for implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems and databases.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish a plus.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills and willingness to travel across South America.
• Bachelors in Engineering or Computer Science; 5+ years in solution development/ integration.

Responsabilities

Solution Specialist responsibilities include defining a complete solution based on Yokogawa Level 3 solutions portfolio to address and solve specific business problems within a customer organization, focusing on customer’s needs/pain.

Ultimately, you will work with the organization’s leaders to identify problems and then work with our IT/OT Team to address those problems with innovative solutions (Hardware/Software), in cooperation with Sales team, as part of it (Synergy between you and Sales Account Managers + Sales Managers + Affiliates).

• Oversees designing, modifying, and testing technical solution’s architecture
• Provide supervision and guidance to development teams
• Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed
• Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented
• Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have
• Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets
• Create and sustain sales activities, related with Yokogawa Level 3 Solutions portfolio (MES, PIMS, APC, MPA, CLPM, WtE technologies (Fuzzy), Process Simulation and others).
• Create and realize Solutions Webinars and customer’s presentation, exposing the most important solution functionalities.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Solution Specialist or similar role
• Deep experience on Level 3 solutions promotion (Yokogawa and/or similar Automation/Solution Company)
• Previous project management experience is advantageous (Level 3 Solutions project implementation)
• Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases
• Efficient communication skills (Portuguese and English)
• Efficient communication skills in Spanish would be a plus.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Bachelors Eng (Chemical or Automation). /Comp Science or minimum 5 years industry experience in solution development/integration, engineering discipline and technical sales
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
• Must be willing and able to travel throughout the South America and global (if necessary)

Competencies :

• Good communication skills, a team player, ability to energize.
• Knowledge of Oil and Gas, Pharma and Materials, or specialized chemical Domain will be a plus
• Strong Knowledge on Level 3 Solutions such as (MES, PIMS, APC, MPA, CLPM, WtE technologies (Fuzzy), Process Simulation and others)
• Knowledge on Latest’s market trend

Skills:

• Software skills in solution analysis, design, methodology, and architecture
• Strong exposure to Simulation technologies, including automated data collection, historian applications (OSI PI a plus), visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, process simulation, Advanced Process Control (APC/MPC), automated decision control, workflow, planning and scheduling.
• Anticipates the needs for change and supports and promotes companywide programs, strategies and initiatives
• Creates an environment conductive to successful interaction and customer satisfaction.
• Early engagement with Customers and explore long term partnership agreements
