Overview

Nokia is searching for an Optical Pre-Sales professional to be a technical interface with clients, focusing on optical networking solutions (DWDM, OTN). Responsibilities include preparing competitive proposals, supporting the bid process, and collaborating with global teams to align solutions with customer needs. Automation expertise is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • You have a strong background in optical networking (more than 10 years), with expertise in DWDM and OTN technologies.
  • You are adaptable and thrive in complex, ambiguous environments while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Your primary role is to act as Nokia's technical interface with the client, preparing technically and commercially competitive proposals.
  • You will collaborate with Post-Sales teams and Product Line Managers across the globe, requiring strong English communication skills.
  • You will contribute to defining customer solution roadmaps and priorities, aligning our solution strategies with customer needs and budgets.
  • You will analyze customer requirements and propose solutions to non-standard queries.
  • You will provide expertise in solution architecture during the early phases of opportunity development, working directly with customers.
  • You will identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • You will support the bid team in offer development, including solution descriptions, SoW, BoQ, and SoC.
  • Automation is transforming the transport industry by reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Knowledge in this area is highly desirable—please highlight your relevant experience.
