We are searching for an experienced and results-driven professional to join our technology organization as a Solution Architect focused on Payments & Billing Systems. In this vital role, you will lead the technical direction and architectural decisions for mission-critical payment processing and billing platforms. Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering with a strong foundation in .NET technologies.
• Proven track record architecting and integrating enterprise-grade payment gateways into complex business platforms.
• Expert-level experience designing and managing large-scale ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory or equivalent platforms.
• Deep expertise in T-SQL and .NET (C#), with a focus on scalable solutions for custom billing, pricing, and financial processing systems.
• Strong understanding of ERP financial systems such as Sage MAS 500 (or similar), specifically within Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger modules.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Billing architecture and CRM-to-finance data strategies is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Strategy & Architecture

• Define and drive architectural strategy for financial integrations, including payment processing, billing automation, and ERP system connectivity.
• Lead end-to-end solution design across systems, ensuring scalability, security, maintainability, and adherence to compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
• Serve as the principal technical authority on billing and finance system integrations, guiding architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning.

Leadership & Governance

• Conduct architecture and design reviews, enforce engineering standards, and mentor development teams on integration and system design best practices.
• Act as a technical advisor to senior leadership, product managers, and finance stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical capabilities.

Engineering Oversight

• Oversee the design and implementation of ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory to support high-volume billing and payment operations.
• Architect and maintain a robust custom billing platform utilizing T-SQL and .NET, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
• Guide the development of secure, resilient integrations with WorldPay or similar payment processors.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Salesforce architects and developers to ensure seamless CRM-to-finance data synchronization and alignment of quote-to-cash processes.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and enterprise systems teams to streamline operations, reduce manual workflows, and optimize financial data flows.
