Alignerr (Powered by Labelbox) seeks soil and water conservation scientists to shape how AI understands sustainable land and water management. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role with on-demand hours.

As part of the AI training team, you review scenarios, evaluate erosion control, watershed management, soil health, and conservation planning; provide structured feedback to improve scientific rigor, and work independently on tasks that fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in soil science, hydrology, or environmental conservation.
• Strong knowledge of soil processes, water systems, and conservation techniques.
• Ability to evaluate environmental science reasoning and technical content.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work remotely.

We're looking for soil and water conservation scientists to help shape how AI understands sustainable land and water management. Your real-world expertise will directly influence the accuracy and reliability of AI systems used by researchers, conservationists, and policymakers worldwide.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your own schedule while contributing to cutting-edge AI development.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-generated soil and water conservation scenarios for scientific accuracy and real-world applicability
• Evaluate content related to erosion control, watershed management, soil health, and conservation planning
• Identify flawed assumptions, outdated practices, or impractical recommendations in AI outputs
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve the scientific rigor and quality of AI training data
• Work independently and asynchronously to complete task-based assignments on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in soil science, hydrology, environmental conservation, or a related field
• Strong foundational knowledge of soil processes, water systems, and conservation techniques
• Able to critically evaluate applied environmental science reasoning and written technical content
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

• Graduate degree in Soil Science, Hydrology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
• Experience with field assessments, conservation planning tools, or land management programs
• Prior exposure to AI content evaluation, annotation, or data quality workflows
