Key Responsibilities
- Ensuresthat software applications meet business requirements and systemgoals.
- Can reproduce and provide STR for bugs reported byClients and Client Relations Specialists.
- Can execute bugInvestigations and bug tracking.
- Communicates Bugs and Fixesto Developers and Digital Producers.
- Provides Support forClient Relations team and Clients.
- Executes testing for new applications, products,and/or enhancements throughout development life cycles.
- Liaises with clients - must be strategic in approach andfocused on business requirements.
- Spots problems/bugs ourengineers may have missed, before they reach our customers.
- Understands the technology from a user standpoint andeffectively answers customer questions.
- Communicates withcustomers regarding quality related issues and complaints.
- Identifies any patterns or trends of support and/orperformance issues and proactively leads discussions to remedy them.
- Follows established processes for defect tracking andreporting, including logging defects in a detailed and reproducibleway.
- Represents QA on cross-functional project teams.
- Ensures that software meets functional requirements, systemcompliance, and interface specifications are met and implementedsuccessfully.
- Analyzes formal test results in order todiscover, document and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configurationissues, and interoperability flaws.
- Works with thedevelopment team to ensure that software meets quality standards.
- Ensures that the product satisfies the product requirementsand meets end-users’ expectations.
- Communicates effectivelywith internal teams to identify system requirements and defects.
- Investigates customer complaints and product issues.
- Identities, records, documents thoroughly and tracks bugs.
- Monitors efforts to resolve product issues and trackprogress.
- Identifies procedures and scenarios for the qualitycontrol of products and services.
- Spots areas for improvementto enhance the product's efficiency.
KeyRequirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,MIS, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum2-3 years of software/application testing.
- Experience withsoftware automation test tools, software design methodologies,automation frameworks platforms, and related systems and technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Jira, Azure DevOps is aplus.
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance testing experience in aweb application environment testing User Interfaces, Web services.
- Well-developed testing experience/solid troubleshootingskills.
- Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies, testphases, test plans, test scenarios development techniques and defectsmanagement.
- Demonstrated ability to work within deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Equippedwith acute attention to detail; able to quickly identify problems andmistakes.
- Organized and able to juggle multiple deadlines andprojects.
- A creative problem solver and systems thinker.
