Housecall Pro in Brazil seeks an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a world-class software team across locations. You will guide technical direction, partner with product and design leads, and drive delivery of high-impact features that improve Pros’ lives.

You will mentor, manage performance, and build scalable systems. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, engineering excellence, and a culture of continuous learning.

Qualificações

• 2+ years leading, mentoring, or managing software engineering teams.
• 6+ years in software engineering delivering scalable web or mobile apps.
• Strong full-stack foundation across modern frameworks and architectures.

Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager, you are a strong leader who helps build, guide, and inspire world-class teams of software engineers. You collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, and technical leads to guide your team in delivering high-impact, scalable product features. You foster an environment of continuous learning, technical excellence, and operational efficiency while supporting the career development and growth of your direct reports. You lead a team of 4-8 engineers, including senior ICs and partner with Staff+ engineers on technical direction, while taking ownership of engineering execution, helping your team navigate technical complexity, streamline delivery processes, and consistently ship high-quality software that solves critical problems for our customers. What You Do Each Day

• Hire, mentor, and grow a team of talented software engineers
• Guide technical execution and team delivery from initial planning through release
• Partner with product and design leads to align technical execution with business priorities
• Cultivate engineering best practices, code quality standards, and efficient development workflows
• Participate in running agile planning and delivery processes that keep the team predictable and unblocked
• Support individual career development through regular feedback, coaching, and goal setting
• Champion architectural improvements and technical debt resolution within your product area
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on autonomy, accountability, and continuous learning

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading, managing, or mentoring software engineering teams
• 6+ years of software engineering experience delivering scalable web or mobile applications
• Strong technical foundation across full-stack development, modern frameworks, and software architecture
• Proven experience driving team efficiency or output quality through the strategic use of AI tools and automation
• Demonstrated success in project management, agile methodologies, and cross-functional team delivery
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience

Compensation

Compensation starts at $7000 USD per month.
