About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-quality web applications using modern technologies such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript. You will also be expected to follow Extreme Programming (XP) practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and adherence to SOLID principles, to ensure clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions while ensuring the best user experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
2. Apply XP practices, including Pair Programming, TDD, and frequent releases.
3. Write unit tests, integration tests, E2E tests, and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) for high-quality code.
4. Adhere to SOLID principles for designing software architectures.
5. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement new features and optimize existing ones.
6. Ensure high-performance and responsive applications across various platforms and devices.
7. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
8. Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.
9. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in both development and production environments.
10. Proven experience with React.js and modern front-end development practices.
11. Hands-on experience with Next.js framework.
12. Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript ES6+.
13. Familiarity with CSS/SCSS, styled-components, or other styling frameworks.
14. Experience with state management libraries.
15. Knowledge of API integration with RESTful services.
16. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
17. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
18. Experience with Docker for containerisation.
19. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have:

1. Familiarity with Radix, Material UI or any other UI Toolkit.
2. Experience with Node.js or server-side rendering (SSR).
3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
4. Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
5. Experience with EKS or ECS for container orchestration.
6. Experience with Jest, Cypress, or other testing frameworks.
