Overview

Our partner is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their team, where they will play a critical role in developing and supporting a multi-domain SSR application that powers over 900 sites. This role is perfect for someone with a deep understanding of Vue.js, Node.js, Vue SSR, and MySQL, who thrives in a complex, multi-domain environment.

As a Software Developer, the selected candidate will be instrumental in architecting and optimizing a large-scale, multi-domain server-side rendered (SSR) application. Their expertise will ensure the platform remains performant, resilient, and adaptable to the diverse requirements of hundreds of unique sites. Additionally, they will create simple analytics queries in MySQL to support data-driven decisions for the application’s performance and user experience.

Monthly salary : $3,500 - $5,000

Native / Bilingual English is required for this role (read / written / spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and Support: Design, implement, and maintain a multi-domain SSR application that supports over 900 sites using Vue.js, Node.js, Vue SSR, and MySQL.
• Scalable Solutions: Develop reusable and efficient components to standardize functionality while catering to domain-specific needs.
• Analytics Queries: Write MySQL queries to gather simple analytics, providing insights into usage patterns, performance metrics, and other data points.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with design and management teams to improve sites / applications.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong background in SSR and multi-domain applications.
• Technical Skills:
• Vue.js: Deep expertise in Vue.js (Vue 2 / Vue 3) and component-based architecture.
• Node.js: Back-end skills with Node.js, ideally with SSR experience.
• MySQL: Proficiency in MySQL for both application use and analytics queries.
• Webpack: Proficiency in Webpack for bundling and optimizing large-scale applications.
• HTML & CSS: Strong grasp of HTML, CSS.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills, especially in multi-domain contexts.
• Scalability Focus: Experience building scalable applications that can handle complex requirements across numerous domains.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with TypeScript and Nest.js.
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines.
