Metal Toad is seeking a Next.js Software Engineer contractor based in Brazil to help build high-performing, scalable applications for our clients.

You will join a fully remote, multidisciplinary team and collaborate with PMs, designers, and engineers. Required: 3+ years in Javascript, 2+ years in NextJS, REST APIs, JSON modeling, relational data stores, Git, and experience with TDD/BDD.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience with Javascript.
• 2+ years of experience with NextJS.
• REST APIs development and deployment.
• JSON modeling and usage.
• Querying and modeling using a relational data store.
• Using package managers such as npm or pip.
• Using Git for source control.
• Experience in TDD and/or BDD.

Although Metal Toad is a remote company, we are currently seeking contractors residing in Brazil for this position. Compensation will be made in Brazilian Reais (R$), in accordance with the local currency of the country where the position is located. Responsibilities

• Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objectives, input data, and output requirements with PMs, supervisors, and clients.
• Provides estimates based on requirements, wireframes, and designs.
