BairesDev is hiring a Software Engineer specializing in dbt to transform data in the warehouse by writing modular models, tests, and documentation. You will apply software engineering rigor to SQL transformations for maintainable, scalable data pipelines.

This is a 100% remote role with excellent compensation in USD or your local currency. You will work with global stakeholders, contribute to data models, and ensure high quality and cost-efficient dbt projects in a cloud data warehouse.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in transforming data using dbt, including writing models, tests, and documentation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling within modern data warehouses.
• Experience applying software engineering rigor to data transformation and analytic workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop modular dbt models to transform raw data into analytics-ready tables and views.
• Implement software engineering best practices such as version control and automated testing for SQL-based transformations.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to define and document robust data models and business logic.
• Optimize dbt projects for performance and cost-efficiency within the cloud data warehouse.
• Maintain the integrity of the data platform by ensuring high test coverage and clear documentation for all models.
