About the Role

As a Software Engineer at BWZ, you will oversee the entire development lifecycle—from discovery and planning to testing and deployment. You will work in an environment that values responsibility, simplicity, and risk-taking.

You will be part of BWZ's Tech Team, focusing on back-end systems and integrations (using Node.js, Python, AWS, etc.), and contributing to the development and architecture of our multi-site Web Platform (WordPress), Ad Tech Platform (Ruby on Rails), and other systems.

This role can be remote or in Curitiba, Brazil, with flexible hours aligned at least partially with PST time zone.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for back-end systems, AI Agents, and integrations with back-office tools.
• Research and learn new technologies to improve product performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with various teams including Web Platform and Ad Tech teams.

• 5+ years experience in software development, especially with data engineering and back-end systems.
• Proficient in automating tasks and managing your own work schedule.
• Curious, innovative, and willing to test new ideas.
