Software Development Engineer in Test Specialist

About the Role

As an Automation Testing Engineer you'll craft software tools and scripts to amplify our automated testing framework, seamlessly integrating functional, integration, and performance testing within our Continuous Integration System. Your role involves designing, coding, and validating automated tests for new features, enhancements, and products. Execute test plans, track and verify fixes, and maintain top-notch automation code quality through innovative testing techniques. Work successfully with developers, DevOps, and project managers, playing a key role in delivering exceptional products to a diverse range of customers.

• Automate Testing: Design, plan, code, and validate automated tests for software components, features, and new products.
• Ensure Quality: Review documentation to guarantee product and test quality; trace test results to identify and report quality risks.
• Integrate and Maintain: Collaborate with development and release teams to reuse test suites and deploy automation; manage version control and test environments.

Experience

• Required experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in software development, with advanced skills in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
  • Solid experience as a Tester, Validator, Quality Assurance, Software Engineer in Test, or equivalent;
  • Experience in test automation with market frameworks (Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright, WebDriverIO, others);
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies;
  • Knowledge of manual test case management tools (Azure DevOps/Test Lab, Zephyr, qTest, etc.);
  • Knowledge of performance testing and related tools (JMeter, Gatling, K6, Locust, others); Experience in one or more programming languages (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, others);
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development and related tools (Cucumber, Pytest-BDD, others);
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, others);
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud);
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Buildkite, Bamboo, others.
  • Proven ability for technical leadership, effective communication, and commitment to results.
  • Differential: Experience with Spring Boot and Kotlin.

Fluency in English (written and speaking) is required
