What you'll do

You will report to the Manager of Software Development and be responsible for designing, analyzing, coding, modifying, and supporting CSG’s Ascendon platform/framework product applications. You are well versed in adopting new technology and architecture, and like solving challenging problems and making your work environment enjoyable. You are someone who has demonstrated their ability to build scalable, maintainable, enterprise-grade products.

1. You will build highly available, scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems.
2. You will continuously improve assigned areas by applying scripting, automation, or application packaging.
3. You will support the platform in customer-facing environments, including troubleshooting issues and monitoring the system.
4. You should be willing to grow and learn from those around you.
5. You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellent customer service, and teamwork.
6. You will perform unit tests, code, and debug thoroughly.
7. You will support system and solution integration testing, user acceptance testing, and resolve problems encountered.
8. You will participate in code reviews, design reviews, or other forms of team quality procedures.
9. You should be able to collaborate effectively with other team members on the team.

You should have

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or technically related field, or equivalent professional experience.
2. 2-5 years of experience in software development and software support/maintenance.
3. Experience in C#, .NET, MS SQL Server, Web Services, SOAP, and ASP.Net Core.
4. Work well within a team environment using Agile methods.
5. Some experience with Cloud Services such as Amazon Web Services.
6. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes.
7. Ability to support on-call rotation.
8. Proficiency in English in a business environment is a must.
