The Team

Eurofins develops its software applications in-house to support its numerous laboratories worldwide. Our Clinical Diagnostic services team ensures access to innovative diagnostic techniques through extensive planning and technology, with the Clinical LIMS Europe Program serving as the central Laboratory Information Management System across Europe. This role is crucial in defining and delivering the product roadmap.

Job Description

In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to develop enhancements to a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and support its multiple customers.

As a Delphi Developer, you will interact with Product Owners and stakeholders to:

• Estimate complexity and workload
• Select appropriate technical solutions to meet user requirements
• Design, develop, and deploy changes to the LIMS based on customer and business needs
• Support the LIMS collaboratively with team members
• Work with Engineers and QA to ensure high-quality solutions
• Implement and follow best practices and quality standards

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

• 4+ years of experience with Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later (Delphi 12 preferred)
• Experience with developing Windows Services and UI Forms in Delphi is a plus
• 4+ years with Oracle PL/SQL
• Strong knowledge of server-side development with Delphi and/or Oracle PL/SQL
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of relational databases (Oracle 9i, 11c or later)
• Knowledge of Agile practices, especially Scrum and Kanban
• Experience collaborating with Business Analysts and Software Architects
• Some experience with test-driven development and automation
• Comfortable with unit testing and mocking in Delphi
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
