The Team

Eurofins develops its software applications in-house to support its laboratories worldwide. Our clinical diagnostic services perform extensive testing daily, requiring advanced technology for planning and organization. The Clinical LIMS Europe Program will serve as the central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe, and this role is crucial in defining and delivering the product roadmap.

This role involves working with a dedicated team to develop enhancements to a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and supporting its multiple customers.

As a Delphi Developer, you will collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to:

• Estimate complexity and workload
• Select appropriate technical solutions to meet user requirements
• Design, develop, and deploy changes to the LIMS based on customer and business needs
• Support the LIMS collaboratively with team members
• Ensure high-quality solutions through teamwork with Engineers and QA
• Follow best practices and maintain high standards

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

• 4+ years of experience with Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later (Delphi 12 preferred)
• Experience with Delphi for Windows Services and/or UI Forms is a plus
• 4+ years with Oracle PL/SQL
• Strong server-side development skills with Delphi and/or Oracle PL/SQL
• Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of relational databases (Oracle 9i, 11c, or later)
• Knowledge of Agile practices, especially Scrum and Kanban
• Experience collaborating with Business Analysts and Software Architects
• Experience in test-driven development and automation
• Comfortable with unit testing and mocking in Delphi
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
