John Deere is seeking a Software Developer (Full-Stack & AI Solutions) in Indaiatuba, SP. You will join an IT engineering team delivering AI-enhanced tools, automations, and integrations to accelerate product discovery and decision-making.

Expect collaboration with Product Management and multiple stakeholders to translate needs into secure, scalable solutions. The role combines full-stack development with practical AI capabilities, contributing to the discovery process and improving the Product

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a software/tech field or equivalent.
• 3+ years of applied software development experience with Python and React.
• Experience building REST APIs and working with databases.
• Familiarity with cloud services and automated deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of AI concepts and AI-enabled development tools.
• Ability to break down problems, communicate progress, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Curiosity, learning agility and disciplined experimentation.

Title: Software Developer (Full-Stack & AI Solutions) - Indaiatuba/SP - 123382

As a Software Developer based at the John Deere Regional Office in Indaiatuba, São Paulo, you will join an IT engineering team that partners with Product Management teams across Global IT. The team supports product discovery, translates business and product needs into technically achievable approaches, and delivers tools, automations, integrations, and AI-augmented solutions that help Product Managers move from ideas to outcomes. In this role, you will engage with multiple stakeholders to understand what they envision, explore the underlying problem, identify technical options and constraints, and build secure, maintainable solutions. You will combine full-stack development expertise with practical AI capabilities to accelerate discovery, reduce manual work, improve decision-making, and strengthen the Product Management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand needs, workflows, pain points, and expected outcomes
• Build, test, and integrate full-stack features, internal tools, APIs, automations, and AI-assisted capabilities
• Contribute to technical discovery by researching options, creating proofs of concept, and documenting findings
• Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into maintainable code with guidance from more experienced engineers
• Apply established engineering practices for source control, testing, security, deployment, monitoring, and documentation
• Participate in peer reviews, Agile ceremonies, demonstrations, and continuous improvement activities
• Support deployed solutions by troubleshooting issues, learning from telemetry, and implementing corrective actions

What Skills You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of applied software development experience, including hands‑on work with a server‑side language such as Python and a modern front‑end framework such as React
• Experience developing or consuming REST APIs and working with relational or non‑relational databases
• Working knowledge of cloud services and automated deployment pipelines
• Working knowledge of unit testing, secure coding, version control, and CI/CD practices
• Foundational understanding of AI concepts and experience using AI-enabled development tools or integrating AI services into applications
• Ability to break down defined problems, communicate progress and blockers, and collaborate with stakeholders and engineers
• Curiosity, learning agility, and a disciplined approach to experimentation

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience with workflow automation, low-code orchestration, or enterprise system integrations
• Experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI evaluation, or responsible AI practices
• Understanding of Product Management, product discovery techniques, or service design principles
