About The Role

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Developer PL/SQL to join our Energy Development team in Bethlehem, US. Take a key role in driving success by working with our Global Team to provide quality services to externally managed service clients and internal business units. This role offers opportunities to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and involves providing system support across multiple domains, as well as design, quoting, and project delivery. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Bethlehem office.

About You

You are a highly enthusiastic individual with proven experience in PL/SQL development using Oracle SQL.

• You bring experience with GIT, are knowledgeable of development methodologies, and understand SDLC.
• You are an excellent communicator, dedicated to meeting deadlines, and eager to learn new technologies and processes.
• You have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and a passion for software development, with experience in a modern, customer-centric software environment.
• You possess strong expertise in automation and have hands-on experience delivering software solutions involving direct collaboration with customers and operations teams.
• You hold a degree in Software Programming, Computer Science, or Engineering, with experience in the utility/energy industry, and have intermediate to professional-level English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Technical Specifications documents and assist other developers in designing their components.
• Design and program agreed developments/modifications to the system and resolve issues related to project deliverables' integration.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure understanding of client requirements and assist in defining customer needs.
• Ensure established standards and procedures are followed at all times.
• Conduct unit testing of code and ensure quality assurance of the system.
