You will collaborate with cross‑functional Amazonians to deliver innovative technologies from scratch. You should have 3+ years of professional software development experience, with design or architecture contributions and strong programming skills in at least one language.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience on new or existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one programming language.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and bring products to market.
• Architect scalable, fault‑tolerant systems in a large distributed environment.
• Build solutions for running predictions on distributed systems at scale.
• Develop storage, index, and query systems that are scalable and easy to manage.

Key job responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
