Key Areas of Responsibility
- Lead the design and architecture of complex software solutions for radar and defense systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, defense requirements, and mission-critical reliability.
- Define and enforce software architecture principles, best practices, and processes across multiple projects and teams.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and design patterns that optimize system performance, safety, and scalability.
- Oversee the integration of software components with hardware systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and robustness.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop system and software architectural specifications, high-level designs, and detailed documentation for radar and defense solutions.
- Ensure traceability and alignment between system requirements and software architectures, facilitating verification and validation activities.
- Lead design reviews, feasibility analyses, and architectural risk assessments.
- Define end-to-end software development processes, with emphasis on maintainability, testability, and security.
- Oversee code quality across projects, guiding teams in refactoring and optimization of legacy systems.
- Develop and enforce rigorous testing protocols, including system simulations, integration tests, and compliance with defense standards.
- Monitor industry trends and technological advances in radar, defense, and related domains; introduce innovative solutions and new technologies as appropriate.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and knowledge sharing within engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven expertise in architecture and development using C++ and other object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java).
- Strong foundation in procedural languages (such as C).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and modern DevOps practices.
- Extensive background in Linux environments (RedHat-like or Rocky) with a focus on deployment in embedded and real-time systems.
- Deep understanding of radar technologies, defense systems requirements, and real-time software constraints.
- Advanced English;
