Jobtailor in Brazil is seeking a Senior Software Architect to design and evolve the architecture of PHP (Laravel) and React applications. You will provide technical leadership to the development teams, ensuring quality, scalability and maintainability across solutions.

Responsibilities include defining architecture standards, building RESTful APIs and services, and guiding microservices and event-driven patterns.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Experience developing enterprise apps with PHP (Laravel) and React.
• Strong knowledge of web application architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.

• Design, define and evolve the architecture of applications developed in PHP (Laravel) and React.
• Provide technical leadership for the development and evolution of solutions, ensuring quality, scalability and maintainability.
• Define architecture, development and system integration standards.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and services for integration between internal applications and third‑party systems.
• Design solutions focused on reusability, modularity and software engineering best practices.
• Perform logical and physical data modeling for MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases, ensuring performance and data integrity.
• Support the definition of microservices-based architectures and event-driven solutions when applicable.
• Develop responsive interfaces using React.js, Bootstrap, Tailwind and JavaScript, ensuring accessibility and a good user experience.
• Participate in defining and implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, OpenID Connect and JWT.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of containerized environments using Docker.
• Participate in defining and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines (CI/CD).
• Conduct code reviews, proposing improvements in quality, performance and security.
• Provide technical support to development teams in troubleshooting and adopting best practices.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams and integration specifications.
• Identify technical risks and propose solutions that ensure stability, scalability and ease of maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to development best practices, security, automated testing and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Experience developing enterprise applications using PHP (Laravel) and React.
• Knowledge of software architecture for web applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices and system integration.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases.
• Knowledge of data modeling and SQL query optimization.
• Knowledge of Git and versioning strategies.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar).
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles and development best practices.
• Knowledge of JWT authentication, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• Knowledge of automated testing and software quality.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Knowledge of Redis, RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with Nginx and Apache.
• Knowledge of observability tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus or Datadog).
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
• Certifications in PHP, Laravel, React or related technologies.
