Job Description

The service is responsible for demonstrating exemplary behavior regarding H3SEQ rules and requirements, ensuring their proper implementation within the area of responsibility, in compliance with the contract and applicable regulations.

Stay informed and ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and H3SEQ standards of the company.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of H3SEQ performance and actively participate in the deployment of the H3SEQ culture.

Engage in the company's safety awareness and initiative programs.

Activities
  • Coordinate and oversee contractual activities with the project manager, construction manager, engineering manager, QA/QC manager, and safety manager.
  • Prepare, organize, manage, monitor, and control all activities related to the manufacturing and construction of equipment/facilities at contractor-managed EPCI submarine fabrication sites.
  • Identify deviations, pending deliveries, material shortages, additional procurement needs, supplier mobilization, and third-party requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strict monitoring of material and equipment storage, transportation, and preservation, as well as their allocation to the construction contractor.
  • Analyze the execution progress on-site during construction, closely monitoring the schedule and acting as an interface between procurement and construction phases.
  • Verify progress and schedule compliance to ensure completion dates are met according to the contract.
  • Compile and report fabrication progress at the site, ensuring proper and timely reporting to the construction manager and project manager.
  • Anticipate issues, propose optimizations, and provide solutions for improvements within the discipline.
  • Participate in meetings with contractors and subcontractors regarding construction-related matters.
  • Monitor, consolidate, and communicate progress at the construction yard under their responsibility.
  • Contribute to maximizing the project’s NPV value by finding ways to enhance quality and productivity and/or reduce investments.
  • Organize technical, QA/QC, and HSE audits related to the construction yard.
  • Participate in the review of QA/QC, H3SE, subcontracting, and other technical procedures dedicated to yard construction.
  • Gather lessons learned and provide feedback to the project team, particularly to the construction manager.
Job Requirements
Engineer Requirements
  • Solid experience in the oil and gas sector, especially in SURF.
  • Background in major EPCI projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to HSE, technical aspects, procurement, transportation, storage and preservation, engineering, construction, quality control, scheduling, and costs.
  • Solid construction background.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Commitment to contributing and adhering to the project's Safety and Environmental requirements.
  • Strong technical understanding of all involved disciplines.
  • Well-organized with a positive attitude, yet capable of raising and defending their position in line with contract requirements.
Language Requirements
  • Fluent in Portuguese.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
