What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate simulations by programming, testing, and running scenarios with faculty instructors
- Provide operational assistance in the Simulation Collaborative and maintain equipment
- Gather data to support operational, research, and commercial initiatives as needed
- Execute simulation sessions without supervision and collaborate on scenario development
- Create learning materials and maintain inventory for high-fidelity simulation rooms
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Specialist: Associate's degree or functional equivalent in a healthcare or science-related field
- Specialist Intermediate: Bachelor's degree or functional equivalent in a healthcare or science-related field
- Minimum of two years of healthcare simulation experience for the Specialist Intermediate position
- Ability to move 50 pounds and remain stationary for long periods
- No licensure required; certifications like CHSOS, CHSE, or CHSE-A may substitute for some experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in healthcare simulation or a related educational field
- Experience with advanced simulation technologies and scenario documentation
- Familiarity with maintaining and updating simulation hardware and software
- Previous experience in conducting training sessions or educational activities
- Strong communication skills to engage with faculty and staff effectively
