Qualificações

  • Experience in Moldflow simulation and plastic injection processes.
  • Strong knowledge of 3D CAD applications like Catia and Siemens NX.

All about the role:

Group Manufacturing Engineering - Food Preservation Organization is looking for a motivated Simulation Engineer - Plant Simulate, to join our global team and be part of our company transformation.

Food Preservation is the Group’s largest global product category, and it is crucial for the Group’s profitable growth ambition. This category is executing multiple key transformation programs that will deliver world-class product architectures to offer consumer relevant and differentiated benefits within the areas of Taste (freshness), accessibility, and sustainability (healthy taste and food waste).

What you’ll do:

You will be in charge of the MOLDFLOW - simulation within GME Food Preservation, supporting the use of virtual manufacturing tools.

You will directly report to the“Architecture, Automation & Simulation Manager, Group Manufacturing Engineering Food Preservation and you will have as main interfaces in the organization: Global R&D Food Preservation, Group ME Business Areas, Group ME Common Core Technologies, Capex, Global Digital Industrial Operation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Being the reference for MOLDFLOW Simulations within Global Manufacturing Engineering (Food Preservation).

  • Additionally, we aim for the “T-Sim”-Simulation work area too, which is about the “Thermoforming”- process of our cabinet and door liners.

  • Prospectively, the “FOAM”-Simulation is an area of interest and might be concerned.

  • Apply global standard solutions and tools in cooperation with all Stakeholders.

  • Be the interface for GME Architects and Design for Automation (DFA) techniques.

  • Review the R&D proposals and strive for improvements on design, tool layout and parameter improvements.

  • Keep a vital collaboration with R&D and our external tool makers

  • Support concept and concurrent development in greenfield and brownfield environment.

  • Be the reference for “Moldflow” within the GME team on concerning aspects.

  • Be the reference for “Moldflow” within Product Line Taste Food Preservation globally.

  • Prospectively, the “T-SIM” and “FOAM” – Simulations are on you, and you act as Subject Matter Expert globally.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

  • Experience in Moldflow simulation.

  • Very good knowledge in plastic injection processes.

  • Knowledge in plastics, mainly HIPS, PP, etc.

  • Knowledge of 3D CAD (Catia / Siemens NX) applications.

  • Advanced English.
