Responsibilities:

As a part-time Showroom Assistant within the residential construction industry, the central duties for this position will be as follows:

Maintain the visual appeal and practical functionality of our showroom.
Assist our valued customers in a friendly and professional manner, first with a greeting and potentially guiding them through our product range in the absence of design staff.
Taking pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom is a key part of this role.
Manage the sample inventory and fulfill minor warranty inquiries for parts in stock. There is a warehouse component which will require receiving of small orders and providing access for larger deliveries with the assistance of a receiver. - - The ability to lift 25 lbs. packages is necessary.
Also in the warehouse the candidate will support with inventory management of small parts, all while assisting with or handling customer inquiries with excellent problem-solving skills and professionalism.

Qualifications:

While prior experience in a similar role is advantageous, what’s most important is your positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
A polished appearance is required to interface with our clientele in this well regarded showroom atmosphere.
High school diploma or higher is required, and a background in retail, or client facing situations or design and construction is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
