Job summary

IBM Consulting in Brazil seeks a ServiceNow Implementation Application Developer to design, develop, and deploy applications on the ServiceNow platform, delivering new functionalities during implementations and supporting production enhancements.

You will balance agile delivery with platform stability, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to CMDB tooling while aligning with IT strategies and governance.

Qualifications

• ServiceNow knowledge to design, develop, and deploy applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience developing applications on the ServiceNow platform, including deployment and configuration.
• Experience delivering new functionalities during implementations and supporting production enhancements, including architectural changes and major upgrades or releases.
• Experience implementing and supporting medium- to high-complexity upgrades or releases on the ServiceNow platform.
• Knowledge of CSDM, preferably version 5.0.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• Familiarity with CI auditing and validation processes.
• Experience with CMDB integration in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications on the ServiceNow platform, leveraging advanced platform and configuration knowledge.
• Deliver new functionalities during implementations and support production enhancements, including architectural changes and major updates or releases.
• Register, update, and monitor Configuration Items (CIs), ensuring data integrity and accuracy through audits and validations.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of CMDB tools, including configurations, integrations, and reporting.
• Develop and document Configuration Management processes aligned with ITIL best practices, collaborating with Change Management and Service Management teams.
• Produce reports on the status and compliance of configuration items, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Configuration Management and CMDB: Register, update, and monitor Configuration Items (CIs), ensuring data integrity and accuracy through audits and validations.
• Tools and Integrations: Support the implementation and maintenance of CMDB tools, including configurations, integrations, and reporting.
• Processes and Governance: Develop and document Configuration Management processes aligned with ITIL best practices, collaborating with Change Management and Service Management teams.
• Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Produce reports on the status and compliance of configuration items, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Communication and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• ServiceNow Knowledge: Experience designing, developing, and deploying applications on the ServiceNow platform, leveraging in-depth platform knowledge and configuration expertise to deliver new functionalities.
• Application Development: Experience developing applications on the ServiceNow platform, including deployment and configuration.
• Feature Delivery: Experience delivering new functionalities during implementations and supporting production enhancements, including architectural changes and major upgrades or releases.
• Technical Implementation: Experience implementing and supporting medium- to high-complexity upgrades or releases on the ServiceNow platform.
• Knowledge of CSDM, preferably version 5.0.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• Familiarity with Configuration Item (CI) auditing and validation processes.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• ServiceNow CSDM Data Foundation certification.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB module tools and features, including Service Mapping, Discovery, CSDM, and Event Management.
• Experience in Configuration Management or related areas.
• Basic knowledge of automation and scripting for configuration management using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Skills in data analysis and report generation using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• ITIL certification.
• ServiceNow certifications.
