Qualificações

• Inglês em nível intermediário ou avançado.
• Experiência em instalação e manutenção de sistemas de lubrificação e resfriamento.
• Experiência com motores de 4 tempos, preferencialmente de baixa e média velocidade.

Responsabilidades

• Executar reformas e reparos em motores de 4 tempos.
• Atualizações de status de trabalho para clientes.
• Criar relatórios de serviço.

Habilidade de resolução de problemas

Conhecimento em sistemas elétricos

Formação académica

We are now looking for a Service Technician (4 Stroke) to join our Field Service of Marine team around the world working for a better future, with the preferred location in Niterói, Barreto, Brazil.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform overhauls and repairs on 4-stroke medium-speed engines. Interact professionally with customers during work execution.
• Perform internal and external progress status updates of the assigned work.
• Assist in creating the Service Work Reports.
• Ensure work is executed according to Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and site procedures.
• Follow-up and report on the status of work orders to customers and/or internal stakeholders.
• Continuously seek solutions according to best practices.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A technical degree in a relevant field (mechanics, automation, naval, or others).
• A completed or in-progress Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a plus.
• English proficiency at an intermediate or advanced level.
• Technical experience in reciprocating engine repair and overhaul with practical problem-solving skills.
• Experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of turbochargers, pumps, heat exchangers, fuel systems, lubrication systems, and cooling systems.
• Professional interaction and solution delivery to customers during work execution.
• Experience with 4-stroke engines, preferably low and medium speed.
• Experience working with electrical systems is a plus.
