A leading employer in early childhood education is seeking a Training and Technical Assistance Specialist to provide high-quality support to Tribal Child Care and Development Fund grantees. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and deliver high-quality training and technical assistance (TTA) to Tribal Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) grantees
- Support and mentor Tribal TA Specialists in various areas of TA delivery and resource development
- Coordinate the execution of targeted and universal training events, including webinars and in-person sessions
- Maintain and update topical Resource Pages and assist with the development of training materials
- Facilitate internal meetings and lead Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to ensure quality TA delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, public policy, public administration, or management
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in early childhood education or related fields working with diverse populations
- 8+ years of experience providing training and technical assistance in early care and education
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a Tribal CCDF program with extensive knowledge of CCDF legislation
- 5+ years of experience developing training resources and facilitating content delivery to Tribal communities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Federally recognized Tribes and Tribal Nations
- Knowledge of Native Language Revitalization and/or dual language programs
- Understanding of trauma-informed care and socioemotional support for children
- Experience providing training at State, Regional, or National Meetings
- Demonstrated experience as a mentor familiar with effective mentorship practices
