CI&T Software S.A. is looking for a QA Engineer to join their international team in São Paulo. This role involves designing and maintaining automated test suites, validating REST APIs, and developing BDD test scenarios.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies. We're looking for a QA Engineer to join an international team building high-quality, scalable applications.

What you'll be working with

• API automation testing
• Contract Testing (PACT)
• REST Assured
• Cucumber
• JUnit
• Mockito
• WireMock
• JMeter (Performance Testing)

You'll be responsible for

• Designing and maintaining automated test suites
• Validating REST APIs and service integrations
• Implementing and maintaining contract tests using PACT
• Developing BDD test scenarios with Cucumber
• Supporting mutation testing initiatives using PIT
• Executing performance tests with JMeter
• Working closely with developers to improve software quality throughout the SDLC
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Nice to have

• Experience with Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT)
• Basic security testing knowledge (DAST and advanced security testing are handled by dedicated security teams)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
