Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end release processes, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of updates and features.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve Release Engineering pipelines, enabling automation, traceability, and reporting (e.g., JIRA, bug tracking, release notes).
  • Drive improvements in branching strategy, semantic versioning, dependency management, and sprint planning.
  • Manage global release planning, coordinating across product, QA, backend, and frontend (iOS, Android, Web, Roku, CTV SDK).
  • Lead large-scale product launches through CI / CD workflows and QA automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure releases meet business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and establish best practices for release management within the team.
  • Manage change management processes for new releases and production updates.
  • Act as a key executive-facing stakeholder, setting expectations and ensuring alignment across international teams.
What We’re Looking For
  • 7–10 years of experience managing releases across full development lifecycles (Android, iOS, Web, or similar).
  • Proven experience with app store submissions (Apple App Store, Google Play, or others).
  • Track record of large-scale, global release management in distributed engineering environments.
  • Strong background in Agile frameworks, preferably within technology or media companies.
  • Hands-on experience with CI / CD workflows, QA automation, and release pipelines.
  • Expertise in branching strategies, semantic versioning, and release tracking.
  • Skilled in working with JIRA and other release tracking tools.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and mentor teams.
  • Experience working with international, cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Operations, Product).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in media, streaming, or technology industries.
  • Familiarity with CTV platforms (Roku, Fire TV, etc.).
  • Strong change management and process improvement skills.
