Job summary

Dijital Team Pty is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer (L3) - Cloud, Infrastructure & Backup to provide advanced technical support, manage enterprise infrastructure, and resolve complex escalations across cloud, endpoint, networking, virtualization, and security environments.

You will be the senior escalation point, leveraging Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Windows Autopilot, Citrix, VMware, and PKI expertise to maintain reliability, strengthen security, automate operations, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in L3 Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer roles.
• Hands-on admin experience with M365, Azure, Intune, Autopilot, and AVD.
• Extensive VMware vSphere and Hyper-V administration.
• Experience managing Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments.
• Strong networking knowledge incl. VLANs, switching, routing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs.
• Fortinet firewall administration and security policy experience.
• Advanced Windows Server administration incl. AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Cert Services.
• PKI and certificate management experience.
• Familiarity with Datto RMM or similar remote monitoring.
• PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 technical support and act as final escalation point for complex infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint management issues.
• Investigate and resolve advanced incidents across enterprise environments.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective measures.
• Design, implement, and maintain M365, Azure, Intune, and Windows Autopilot environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure and user environments.
• Monitor and manage endpoints using Datto RMM and other monitoring tools.
• Administer VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Maintain Windows Server environments with AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Cert Services.
• Support certificate management and PKI infrastructure.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VLANs, switches, routers, and enterprise networking environments.
• Administer Fortinet firewalls, security policies, VPNs, and related security services.
• Apply security best practices for stability and protection of IT infrastructure.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Identify automation opportunities and promote infrastructure-as-code.
• Contribute to proactive monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and cloud transformations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
• Ensure ITIL-aligned service management processes.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer (L3) - Cloud, Infrastructure & Backup to provide advanced technical support, manage enterprise infrastructure, and resolve complex technical escalations across cloud, endpoint, networking, virtualization, and security environments.

Ideal Profile

Technical Expertise

• At least 5 years of experience in an L3 Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer role.
• Strong hands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Extensive experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper‑V administration and troubleshooting.
• Manage and support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments, including application publishing, user access, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Strong networking knowledge, including VLANs, switching, routing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Practical experience administering Fortinet firewalls and managing security policies.
• Advanced Windows Server administration skills, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services.
• Experience managing Certificate Servers and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Familiarity with Datto RMM or similar remote monitoring and management platforms.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
