Job summary

Keep Simple, a large global financial and insurance products company, is seeking a Data Developer to develop and support code on SSIS and Python for Klondike teams. You will work on SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and data warehouse related tasks.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong SQL/T-SQL skills, and familiarity with SSIS/SSRS, Azure/AWS. This is a 100% remote position offering collaboration with global teams and diverse data challenges.

Qualifications

• MDB/MS SQL Server DBA/Developer with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong development background in SQL Server and SSIS; Python experience required.
• AWS/Azure cloud experience is a plus; experience with data warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Development and support of code on SSIS and Python for Klondike teams.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions (T-SQL).
• Develop and troubleshoot data pipelines and reporting objects (SSIS/SSRS).
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting and data migrations.
• Collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to understand data needs.

Requirements and skills

Required Qualifications / Skills:

• Database: MS SQL, Azure,AWS;
• Tools : SSIS, SSRS, AI Tools;
• Languages: SQL, T-SQL,Python;
• Desired Experience Range 5+ years.

Data Development (Must have) :

• SQL Server 2017/2019/2022 DBA/Developer 5+ years;
• Strongdevelopment background in SQLserver and some SSIS ,stored procedures, Python -this is mostly a development role;
• AWS/AzureCloud experience considered a plus;
• Workwith operational and data warehouse systems;
• Strong communication skills;
• Self-Starterand flexibility with work hours and work direction;
• Experience with AI code generators forPowerShell and SQL ,oracle databases considered a plus.

Data Development - SQL Server Developerwith extensive familiarity with data management principles including:

• Development of high quality database solutions;
• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL;
• Understand data dimensional models;
• Write or troubleshoot Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers etc;
• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements;
• Research required data;
• Build appropriate and useful reportingdeliverables;
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performanceimprovements;
• Suggest new queries;
• Develop procedures and scripts for datamigration;
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting;
• Investigate exceptions with regard to asset movements.

Developmentand QA Support -

• Detailed knowledge of T-SQL, SSIS packages andknowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services;
• Experience with Python coding;
• Develop and analyze SQL ServerCode objects such as Stored Proc, View, Function , Trigger etc and identify defects andrecommend for performance tuning;
• Experience of Transactional SQL, and SSIS Package;
• Code version management, Codedeployment to various databases.

Problem-solvingskills – SQL Server Developer should be skilled creative and technical problem-solvers, able to isolate and resolve databaseissues in real time to maintain access and data integrity.

Communication Skills:

• Respond to issues in timely manner, clearly elaborateproblem and proposesolution;
• Communicate with applicationteams, listen and respond to their queries and concerns.

Knowledge toadditional technologies (Good to Have):
