Responsibilities
  • Design, and optimize tools for the Root System processes (mass produced items) including tool development, tooling requirements and specifications, and tool industrialization and standardization
  • Create tooling and supplier roadmap via analysis of AS IS and future state
  • CAPEX Budget: Tool Delivery (TPM), Service and maintenance strategy including EAM, Tool optimization including tool in use today, Be part of building a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability
  • Use digital tools like digital twins and data analytics to improve performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Investigate and solve production issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and FMEA
  • Applying continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and ensure final product quality
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • GB Six Sigma of Advance Manufacturing Process Analysis
  • 10 years experience working with Tool development for mass produced items, tools functional requirements specification, leading tooling projects or using data process analyses
  • Deep understanding of how the manufacturing processes can be automized for the benefit of the product quality
  • Composite materials knowledge, understanding of glue, fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins, and other materials used in production
  • Experience with Process Requirements formulation and Process flow creation and data process analyses at a high level
  • Facilitated optimization and standardization within manufacturing processes (Mass production) with use of the toolbox also mentioned above
  • Able to develop and or specify the functions of tools to Root System process mass produced items, including equipment for quality control and online process measurements
  • You are interested and willing to spend time in the factory environment as required to understand and solve problems
  • You can be an integral part of cross functional product development projects
  • You are self-motivated; result-oriented and possess great organizational discipline
  • You find it exciting and interesting to work with other people in a large organization and can build up an intensive network across cultures and time zones and work with stakeholders
  • You are customer-oriented and can understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective
