The Senior Java Developer will play a key role in architecture discussions, mentoring, and delivering high-performance, secure financial services applications.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications in Java + Quarkus
• Drive implementation and validation of FIX protocol integrations across systems
• Ensure adherence to best practices in automated testing and maintain high code quality standards
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews for mid-level and junior developers
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align solutions with business and technical requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
• Contribute to architectural discussions and propose improvements in performance, scalability, and security

What You Bring

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java (11+)
• Deep expertise with Quarkus (RESTEasy, Panache, MicroProfile)
• Strong experience with FIX protocol integrations
• Proven experience leading development teams and performing code reviews
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS)
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with QA frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, or Cypress)
• Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
