About the Opportunity:

First Help Financial, recently voted as a "Great Place to Work" for the third year in a row is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our highly skilled and innovative team. First Help Financial is embarking on a new growth phase involving multiple game-changing projects.

What you will do:

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications using Python or Java, React, and AWS.
2. Integrate GenAI solutions into our CRM platform, including identifying agentic workflows and deriving LLM-based solutions.
3. Evaluate and implement LLM APIs and tools to enhance CRM functionality and user experience.
4. Build and manage RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
5. Design and optimize SQL databases (PostgreSQL or Oracle preferred).
6. Implement and manage real-time data streaming using AWS Kinesis Data Streams (KDS).
7. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code to ensure high quality and maintainability.
8. Work independently with minimal supervision, thriving in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices with GenAI and LLM development.
   

What you bring:

1. 3+ years of professional full-stack or backend development experience.
2. Strong proficiency in Python or Java.
3. Experience with React for front-end development.
4. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
5. Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or Oracle).
6. Experience with AWS services (ex: EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, RDS).
7. Experience with AWS Kinesis Data Streams (KDS).
8. Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their potential applications within CRM systems.
9. Experience integrating or deriving LLM-based solutions to enhance CRM functionality.
10. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
