About the Role

As a Software Engineer in the Shield team, you will be part of a multidisciplinary group focused on building security solutions that protect and strengthen VTEX’s platform. The team works across different contexts — from critical core flows such as checkout to premium customer-specific features — always with a strong focus on security, performance, and resilience. In this role, you will investigate and solve complex problems related to networks, traffic, and distributed systems, while also collaborating with product, engineering, and even directly with customers when needed. You’ll have the freedom to explore systems in depth, identify vulnerabilities, and propose scalable solutions.
