Jobtailor in Brazil is seeking a senior Android engineer to lead end-to-end mobile initiatives from concept to production release. You will set Android engineering standards, drive performance improvements, and ensure secure, scalable mobile solutions.

You will mentor engineers and influence architecture choices while contributing to a high-scale, multi-country application similar to a PhizChat-like super app offering messaging, payments, content, and services.

Qualificações

• Experience in native Android development with Kotlin and a track record of architectural decisions.
• Strong command of mobile architecture patterns (e.g., modularization, Clean Architecture, MVVM).
• Hands-on experience optimizing mobile performance and monitoring quality.

Requirements

• Strong experience in native Android development with Kotlin, including a track record of making architectural decisions
• Strong command of mobile architecture, including modularization, Clean Architecture, MVVM, or similar patterns
• Hands-on experience optimizing mobile application performance
• Knowledge of mobile observability, including crash reporting, monitoring, and metrics
• Strong experience with automated testing, including unit and integration testing, and ideally end-to-end (E2E) testing
• Knowledge of mobile security practices, including sensitive data protection and secure communications
• A plus: experience with Flutter and/or Swift
• A plus: experience with modular architectures in large-scale projects
• A plus: experience with Offline First approaches
• A plus: experience working on high-scale global applications serving multiple countries and millions of users
