Coforge in Brazil is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate streaming services in a remote role. You will work across regions on AWS infrastructure (ECS, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda) and contribute to architecture discussions while driving automation and reliability.

The ideal candidate has strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js experience, solid AWS and DevOps fundamentals, and a background in high-traffic distributed systems within an Agile environment.

Competenze

• Strong production experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS ECS and DevOps fundamentals (CI/CD, IaC).
• Experience with high-traffic distributed systems, REST/WebSocket APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Drive execution of initiatives, ensuring adherence to quality and operational standards while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Deploy and operate services on AWS across multiple regions, utilizing ECS and supporting services such as S3, Amazon Dynamo DB, and Lambda.
• Improve performance and resiliency through effective caching strategies, retry mechanisms, and scaling policies, measuring impact with concrete data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong production experience with JavaScript/ TypeScript and NODE.JS.

• Solid understanding of Mathematics.
• Experience with high-traffic distributed systems, including REST or WebSocket APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile Knowledge.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Observability.
• Understanding of Network Protocols such as HTTP/2 and WebSockets.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with 3D Modelling, geometry, or streaming pipelines.
• Experience with Rust is a plus.
