Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Java engineer to drive architectural refinements and hands-on development in a AWS-backed environment. You will design and implement scalable systems, collaborating with security, governance, and business teams to ensure alignment.

The role emphasizes robust testing and code quality, with involvement in CI/CD automation and occasional Angular front-end support to balance responsibilities across the stack.

Qualificações

• Proven experience with Java and Spring Boot in enterprise apps.
• Hands-on AWS experience with core services and architectures.
• Strong background in microservices, RESTful APIs, and messaging.
• Emphasis on unit and integration testing for resilience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical refinements with the team and support architecture decisions in AWS.
• Lead development of robust, scalable systems using Java and contribute hands-on to coding.
• Act as technical liaison between Information Security, Governance, and Business areas.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and promote Clean Code and SOLID practices.
• Support CI/CD automation and assist with occasional Angular front-end tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical refinements with the team and support shared decisions on architecture and solution design in AWS.
• Lead the development of robust, scalable systems using Java and contribute hands‑on to coding.
• Serve as a technical point of contact and translator between Information Security, Governance, and Business areas.
• Ensure code quality through thorough code reviews and promote best practices (Clean Code, SOLID).
• Support automation (CI/CD) and occasionally assist the team with ad‑hoc front‑end maintenance (Angular).

Requirements

• Excellent communication, a proactive attitude, and a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot and related ecosystem).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS (core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and messaging systems.
• Unit and integration testing with a focus on software resilience.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Angular (only for occasional support).
• Experience with or knowledge of Mulesoft.
