SLAMcore in São José dos Campos, Brazil, offers a hybrid, full-time Senior Scientist – R&D Analytical role. You will lead strategy and execution of analytical development and accelerated stability studies for cosmetic projects, coordinating resources from local to global scope.

You will write and review test methods, protocols and reports, supervise method validation/transfer activities, and communicate results to stakeholders to drive project decisions.

Qualificações

• A minimum of bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy and/or correlated areas is required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/cosmetic/chemical/food industry is required.
• Experience in liquid and gas chromatography is mandatory for that position.
• Experience in test method validation/transfer is highly recommended.
• Fluent level of English is a must have, as this professional will be exposed to global meetings.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategy and execution of analytical development and accelerated stability studies for cosmetic projects to attend local and global scope.
• Write and review technical documents, including test methods, protocols and reports (test method validation, transfer and stability studies).
• Plan, execute and allocate resources to deliver activities.
• Communicate results and main outcomes to stakeholders; escalate hot topics to leadership when needed.
• Independently manage laboratory activities such as test method validations/transfers and stability study analyses.

What you will do

Client is recruiting a R&D Analytical Senior Scientist based in São José dos Campos, SP, Brazil. This professional will lead strategy and execution of analytical development and accelerated stability studies for innovation projects to attend cosmetic portfolio products at Client, supporting projects from local to global scope. Main responsibilities are planning, execution and evaluation of resources for delivering activities.

This professional will write and review technical documents, including test methods, technical protocols and reports (test method validation, test method transfer and stability studies) following standard operation procedures e quality/regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities

• Strong sense of urgency is necessary for rapid response to problem solving, troubleshooting and to identify improvement opportunities of current processes.
• Strong sense of independency and autonomy on decision making and clarity/agility on escalating hot topics to leadership levels.
• Clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Capacity to work in a collaborative way with analytical peers and with internal stakeholders.
• Independently manage tasks complexity and communicate data results and main outcomes of the projects, suggesting action plans as needed to support the projects decisions.
• Independently execute laboratory activities, such as test method validations, test method transfers, stability study analysis, analytical investigations and chemical characterization analysis.
• Lead definition of strategy to define protocols of test method validation/transfer and stability studies.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience in management of stability studies will be considered as a differential.
• Experience in implementing technical projects or in site issues support to manufacturing/production area is a differential.
• Knowledge about the regulations and/or guidelines related to method development & validation for drug products, drug substance and/or cosmetics is desirable for this position.
• It is preferred that this candidate have strong technical writing skills and project management skills.
• Experience in systems as EMPOWER and LIMS is desirable.
