Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Expert to drive end-to-end supply chain planning transformations for diverse clients. You will design, implement, and optimize SAP IBP solutions to improve forecast accuracy, inventory efficiency, and visibility.

You will lead workshops, collaborate with business and technical teams, and contribute to both delivery and pre-sales efforts across industries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with SAP IBP implementations.
• Expertise in at least two SAP IBP modules: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Inventory Optimization, or Control Tower.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC integration scenarios.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) — B2 or higher.
• Experience in conducting client workshops and translating business requirements into functional designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in full lifecycle SAP IBP implementations—from requirements gathering to go-live.
• Configure and customize SAP IBP modules including Demand, Supply & Inventory, S&OP, and Control Tower.
• Conduct workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to capture planning processes.
• Design and implement planning models, key figures, planning levels, and operators.
• Integrate SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and third-party systems using SAP CPI or other middleware.
• Support master data design and migration related to supply chain planning.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants on the project team.
• Collaborate with architects and developers on custom enhancements and extensions.
• Prepare functional specifications, solution documentation, and training materials.
• Participate in pre-sales activities including solution presentations and effort estimations.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP IBP solutions that improve forecast accuracy, inventory efficiency, and overall supply chain visibility. You will be part of a cross-functional team delivering complex SAP projects across a variety of industries, contributing to both delivery and pre-sales activities.

Requirements

• Expertise in at least two SAP IBP modules: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Inventory Optimization, or Control Tower
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC integration scenarios
• Understanding of supply chain planning concepts (demand sensing, statistical forecasting, MRP, S&OP cycles)
• Experience in conducting client workshops and translating business requirements into functional designs
• Proficiency in working with Excel Add‑in for SAP IBP and analytical planning views
• Fluent English (written and spoken) — B2 or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning for Response & Supply (IBP R&S)
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP BW/4HANA
• Familiarity with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite for system‑to‑system integration
• SAP IBP certification
• Experience in Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks
• Background in industries such as manufacturing, retail, FMCG, or life sciences
