Techifide Ltd. is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to own the automation strategy for both web and desktop apps.

You will design scalable frameworks, translate product requirements into automated tests, and collaborate across engineering and QA to raise quality standards. You'll leverage Playwright, TypeScript, and modern React testing practices, while integrating AI-assisted tools to boost coverage and productivity.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience in Software Test Engineering, SDET, or Test Automation.
• Expert knowledge of Playwright and TypeScript.
• Solid experience testing modern React applications.
• Experience designing automation frameworks rather than simply maintaining existing ones.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for modern web and desktop applications.
• Create and maintain automated tests across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end layers.
• Transform product requirements into comprehensive automated test scenarios.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable releases.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve test coverage, productivity, and defect detection.
• Create performance and load testing solutions to measure application scalability.
• Investigate test failures, eliminate flaky tests, and continuously improve automation stability.
• Work closely with software engineers, technical leads, and QA specialists to identify the highest-value automation opportunities.
• Contribute to monitoring and quality metrics by building dashboards and actionable reporting.

You'll take ownership of the test automation strategy, designing robust frameworks that ensure complex web and desktop applications remain reliable as they evolve. You'll also explore how modern AI tools can accelerate testing, reduce manual effort, and improve overall software quality.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for modern web and desktop applications.
• Create and maintain automated tests across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end layers.
• Transform product requirements into comprehensive automated test scenarios.

• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve test coverage, productivity, and defect detection.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years' experience in Software Test Engineering, SDET, or Test Automation.
• Expert knowledge of Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong experience testing modern React applications.
• Solid understanding of testing strategies across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience designing automation frameworks rather than simply maintaining existing ones.
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing applications built with Three.js, WebGL, or other 3D rendering technologies.
• Knowledge of performance, stress, or load testing.
• Experience writing automation in Rust or C#.
• Exposure to CAD or engineering software such as Revit or Rhino.
• Experience testing .NET desktop applications, plugins, or native software.
• Previous experience helping scale QA practices across multiple products or engineering teams.
